What it is

Most break-ins are boring: old software, reused passwords, and fake login pages. A few small habits stop almost all of them. We cover three big wins:

  1. Turn on automatic updates on your phone and computer
  2. Set up a password manager for your key accounts
  3. Turn on two-step sign-in for your most important accounts

Further along? The slides also cover passkeys, hardware security keys, credit freezes, and being ready for a few days without power — water, food, cash, radio and battery backups.
